three's a charm

It has been a little while since I was able to get a good picture of the trip's together. Although it was a challenge before, I was always able to get a decent shot...with three sorta good smiles. Forget it now! Even for me (who never takes "no" for answer) is is impossible. They are on the move and the thought of sitting still for 3 seconds is out of the question! You would have laughed at me yesterday, trying to get the three of them to sit still for the orange and white outfit shot. Every time I placed one down to sit, another would start crawling (or rolling) toward me. Again and again and again. My foot was in every shot except the below. I will need to start recruiting daddy for help when I want a good shot of them together...

Long pants season is here...We are used to wearing onesies and going barefoot!

Yes...mommy didn't finish dressing us...that is why our buttons are undone at our necklines.

mini banana's

There seems to be some concern as to what I am feeding my children...(and I don't blame you, based on the previous post!) But before you call me in to children's services... you should know that I have tried to add some fun foods to the mix!

Behold the infamous "mini" banana's!

For those of you who don't know what a mini banana is.... it is a banana that is about 3" in length and tastes pretty much like a banana...just smaller. Since the babies like the bigger chiquitas, I thought they would get a kick out of having their own personal one. Contrary to what I thought...see below.

size comparison....it is smaller than an apple!

"Ok, Mom...I'll try it. Yummmm" - Gab

"Let me naw on this a bit to see if it is okay" - Mateo

"Blah! Augh- yuck- how am I supposed to swallow this thing??" - Mateo

"Ehh. What the hell is this? I don't know about this...Mom. It looks pretty weird." - Mary

"Mary, it's a chiquita...you like banana's." - Mom.
"Oh, yeah...that's right. okay Mom." - Mary.

what is that?!?!?!?!

I am not quite sure which is worse:
The fact that I actually chopped up left over pork and mixed it with puree'd green beans
or
The fact that I actually fed it to my children.

(And you can quess how much they liked it - yuck! even Mateo, my garabage disposal had enough of it after a few spoonfuls.)

update..

one leg warmer is already off. (SIGH)

look at what mommy has resorted to....

With us crawling around so much, the berber carpeting is really starting to take its toll on our poor little knees. The red, raw splotches are scaring Mommy...so she is attempting to fix the situation by putting Daddy's old knee socks on our legs! She cut little holes in the toes and stuck them up, over our chubby thighs. Hopefully it won't cut off our circulation and won't inhibit us from getting around! (FLASHBACK TO THE LATE 80'S LEG WARMERS!!!)

better late than never

Sorry this is so late in coming! But I wanted to post it for those of you that never got to see the link to the Sear's website. Below are the babies 8mo pictures.

nine months old!

We were nine months old yesterday!!

Mommy & Daddy took our picture tonight and we were not impressed. We had just had our baths and were settling down to have our night time bottle when they expected us to perform at our best - with our charming smiles and glowing personalities. Ha! We showed them - we were not impressed!

gabby, mary, and mateo

see what I can do when Mommy isn't looking??! I crawled the whole length of the treadmill. If no one else in this family isn't going to do it, I might as well get some use out of it! - Mare-bear

I found a new toy!!! (Yet another one of Mommy's plans that has gone awry. Isn't she funny? She thought that an inflatable wave runner would help keep us contained in the bathtub during bath time. Instead, we leaned back and almost fell out! At least we can play with it...even if it isn't in the water!)

a view from the window

On Saturday morning, just after we finished feeding the breakfast bottles, we looked out of our living room window to see two beautiful hot air balloons flying by! Although they look far away, the balloons literally drifted right over our house and you could see and hear the fire billowing as they went by. What a nice surprise! Not a view you get to see every day!!

silly babies

all three babies in one crib! yeah...right! only for a few minutes before everyone became squished!!!
sister mary on top of sister gabby...

I can't even begin to tell you how hard it is to get all three to sit still for ONE second while I take the shot... let alone without anything in their mouths...and all of them looking at me at one time...

mateo & gabby playing together

smile pretty, mary!

mary does not care who is sitting in the seat while she tries to climb through

do not adjust your camera angle...yes, mateo has turned himself side-ways in the swing!
