painful

zoo

We were lucky enough to rec've a zoo pass for the kid's as a Christmas present... so going to the zoo is not only easy - but frequent! The trio are really getting into the animals... even requesting to see certain ones... and of course we couldn't forget to see the dino exhibit.

Remember last year? https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirg1avZ3W13mCc1MGM5OFXnVkiCFXq1oYOKZYSFFJiMJlAz7LwBzfGyO438j8YJldmpmJwME3xeGglP9cWef_qSdjW6KzWX52JEm_yfYktMvK0UI6f2cIr2R5ZgGZDwAyccw4TNL3XDZk/s1600-h/IMG_0900sm.jpg

And now... just one year later:they were afraid of a nearby dino that was spitting water....hence the looks!

and while waiting to see Mr. Wylde's animal show...we put on a show of our own!

american idol...here we come!

Is there ANY resemblance of a song in this video? Are they even TRYING to sing the same song? I know that the "Our Father" ends up at the end of the video....but in the beginning it's anyone's guess.....

(I think they got their "lack of" singing talent from their Mom)

rollin'... rollin'..... rollin'

go abby...go abby...go - go - go abby!

the inevitable

I have heard lots and lots of stories about how siblings close in age can use each other to create "big" messes and do some damage....even more stories about how twins have a keen sense of mischief. And I was warned about triplets.

Up until this time, I thought that these stories were exagerated...even glorified in an attempt to scare me and keep me on my toes. But my triplets are angels - they listen and obey and only create minor michief.....

ahem....what? whoa? what was I thinking? what kinds of blinders do I wear?

As I said goodbye today to Lolo & Lola (they were over watching the kiddo's so that I could spend some time with Aunt Hilary and baby Savannah) I wasn't concerned that the stillness I heard (or didn't hear) from upstairs was my trio being good - going to their "quiet time places" as I had asked. Boy was I wrong!

I found 3 naked preschoolers taking a bath in a bathROOM. Not a bathtub...no...that would make too much sense. They were flooding the bathROOM. The garbage can was half filled with soapy, sudsy water...the floor was covered in water... their heads were wet.... and I think even baby Cindy (Gabby's babydoll) was looking for a life preserver.

And instead of inflicting fear on them...when they saw me enter the room (with the meanest growl I could muster having seen the unthinkable) they laughed and giggled... and ran their naked hineys to their quiet places.

And to think this is only the beginning! Aye-vey.

where is the time going?

Where is the time going - that my baby girl can now sit in an exersaucer and play with the toys?

mindless habit

This blog is as much for me as it is for all of you.... and before I forget to document it... I wanted to write about Abby's adorable (well, at least it is to me!) mindless habit as she drinks and falls asleep....she will grab any cloth (wether it is her own shirt) or my shirt or a cloth diaper and play with it in her hands as she tries to relax.... I love it- so peaceful and comforting... and as soon as I can grab a picture of it, I'll post one for you....

our little fantastic swimmers!

Today is the first day of our "no more swimming lessons with mr. adam" and I think the trio are in withdrawl. Luckily, we had some nice weather yesterday and all three could practice their skills with Daddy in the big pool at 5 seasons. It is going to be a FUN summer!
