babies in the bumbo

....and they say it gets easier as they get older?! ha! 16weeks already!!!

The babies are growing so fast! They are attempting to sleep longer at night...with some interruption for a late night feed (we call them"dream feeds" because they are mostly sleeping as they drink) or a pacifier...but for the most part, they are sleeping a good few hours at night. (So, mom does get to catch some zzz's inbetween pumping.)

They are up to 6oz at each feeding, although they might not finish the bottle. (Ok, not you, Mary, you finish it EVERY time.) They are also almost out of their stage 1 diapers and are pushing the 0-3mo size in clothes. They pick their heads up when on the tummies...and Gabby continues to be the houdini and scooch around as much as possible when lying on her back.

The girls are quite the little flirts and smile and coo at anyone who will listen...and we have seen an occasional smirk on Mateo. He is more known for the "it wasn't me" look (you know, when they look side to side and won't look directly at you) when dirtying his diaper. It is hysterical.

The bigger news is that they can sit up in their bumbo's (for the most part.) They love to eat dinner with Mom and Dad while in their bumbo's...and each day, they gain more and more head strength and can sit in the bumbo longer...

Below are pic's from recent visitors and the last few weeks. They go for their 4mo old shots in a few weeks...

Our "peas in the pod" t-shirts (thank you Aunt Melissa) fit like real t-shirts! Check out our Dec blog to see how large the t-shirts were on them back then!

Drs' Garcia

We had such a nice visit with our "Auntie Liz"!! Below are pictures we took during her visit. We continue to grow and develop our own personalities as we hit 12 weeks of age.

"Get ready Dad... three in medical school!"

The triplet stroller is a "stopper" on the street - everyone is fascinated with the three babies when we go on walks! Aunt Liz walked us to our favorite ice cream place, Brusters, right before this picture was taken... and the ice cream sure looked yummy!

"We can't believe you tried to cram us into a wicker laundry basket! Mateooooooo is too heavy and is squishing us, Mom!!!"

"yes, I do like the warmth of this fuzzy jacket" - Mary

"all right Mom....we'll attempt to hold hands...but we won't look at each other!" - Gab & Mateo
