happy new year!

Do we really have to take another picture? (mary, gabby, mateo)

we are fans of where Daddy works! (The hospital where Lou works is called "shands")

We still aren't sure how Gabby ended up 180degrees compared to her sister and brother...

Finally, a post!!! I can't begin to tell you the joys of having the babies with us...and at the same time, the complete exhaustion it also causes...hence the lack of post updates :)

All are doing well...eating and growing like crazy. In just the past 3 weeks, you can see the size difference in the babies - especially the girls!

All three triplets on Daddy's lap... Mateo, Gabby, and Mary

Hi Everyone!

Pictures are from last week...so not as many of Mateo since he wasn't home... but...he came home on Tues, 12/19 and it was wonderful to have all three babies under one roof.

Hilary, Rob and Thomas were here for a visit last week and helped welcome Mateo home. It was a Godsend having them here as we attempted to take care of 3 newborns all at one time. They are the most precious gifts from God - even when all three have created a crying orchestra!!

Ped's appt this past Thurs showed that Mary is now at 5lbs 6oz, and Gabby and Mateo have each hit the 5lb mark. This is WONDERFUL NEWS and hence explains why we have just bought our 12th package of new born diapers. (Keep the coupons coming for the diapers... we REALLY REALLY appreciate them!)

a few days old...

How small they are in their car seats!

Daddy & Girls after a feeding.

Mateo with a full belly....

Gabby (left) & Mary (right)

The babies are now a few days old! The girls had their first dr. appt and all went well! They are growing and gaining weight at such a good rate. Mateo is not far behind his sisters. Although he is still in the hospital, he is now feeding out of a bottle and gaining weight as well. Mom and Dad, although sleep deprived, are enjoying EVERY moment of it!

WE HAD THE BABIES!!!!

Mateo

Mommy & Mary

Gabby

We are TRULY blessed. All 3 went to the regular nursery upon birth. But by the end of the 2nd day, our little boy was transferred up to the NICU since he was spitting up and his belly was getting so hard (I was told, due to gas build up.) But when last I saw him (and talked to Dr's) his tummy had been drained of the gas, and he was tolerating the nutrition feeding they were giving him....and they were going to start him back on 5-7cc's of formula to see if he would keep it down. As of this time, they don't really see anything wrong with him (he also had a few spells of apnea that have seemed to stop) but are keeping him in the NICU and taking it very very slow... (even the cysts he had been diagnosed with having in his lungs while utero are still there but not posting any problems) but I hope to see him in my arms at home by the end of the week - baring anything major happening.

Which means, our GIRLS are home and it is such a joy!
