you know your children are spoiled when.....

you know your children are spoiled when..... daddy uses the code word "robbin" for a suggestion for a quick dinner and the girls know instantly what he means... and shout "we want red robbin!" The boy quickly caught on and joined in the shout fest. Mom was out-voted in her suggestion of Panera... sigh. Daddy's little girls...

Get out and Vote!

Please note the voting box along the left side of the blog... and take your guess as to the gender of the baby!

BIG news!!!!

The Garcia family is excited to announce that we are 16wks pregnant and expecting our 4th child in Jan of 2010! (And yes, we are sure there is only one.....)

I should have some pretty good ultrasound pic's to scan in a few weeks... At some point I will have to start a poll on the blog to see if you think it will be a boy or girl!!

put your hands out!

Daddy is in the process of teaching Gabby to "put her hands out" when she is falling down. Yesterday, Gabby missed this important step during her big fall and ended up with a pretty scrached up face. I still shudder when I hear Daddy use the words "took a face plant into the ground..." Poor Gab.

sorrowful mother shrine

Recently we caravan'd to the Sorrowful Mother Shrine - a beautiful location with a nature walk and grotto's of saints and the Holy Family. Our family (including Daddy), along with Lolo, Lola, Pa, Aunt Hilary, Thomas and Joe made the trip.

Unfortunately, we ran into rain the ENTIRE time and also got lost a few times. Most of the grotto's were empty as the statues were under renovation and the cafeteria was closed as well. But we made the journey and enjoyed our time together... (see, brigtht side of things!)

4th of July

Our Cleveland summer began with 4th of July festivities! A water sprinkler and annual parade completed the day!

goodbye old house

a sincere thank you

We owe a HUGE, (and from the bottom of our heart thank-you... yes, really, that sort of thank you) to our cousin Ashleigh who was more of a help to our family this summer than we can even begin to recount. We are so glad to be back in Cleveland and to be able to spend more time with you, Ash!

sad good-bye's

We bid a sad fare-well to the two groups of friends in Charlottesville that really, really adored the kids (and became a huge support to me!) WE MISS YOU!!!!!!

Jan-Jan was a friend from Harris Teeter, the grocery store that we shopped at every week.
(The kids LOVED visiting her.. especially since she always gave them a yummy treat of kiwi!)

Christa also worked at Harris Teeter with Jan-Jan and is now demanding "custody rights" to the kids :)

Amo was a favorite of the trio when we visited ACAC (the athletic club that Mommy and Daddy joined to help keep us all in shape!) The kids really liked playing with the staff in the club's "kidzone."

All 3 took to Pam instantly when we first began our trips to ACAC's kidzone.

peaches in C'ville

We had a great time on our annual trip to the peach orchard! (I guess two years in a row is considered "annual", right??) Lots and lots of yummy (and ripe) peaches.

nap time

Just yesterday (7/28/09) this is what I found when I went up during nap time.... silly babies!

zumba zumba zumba

The opportunity of having their older cousins babysit can have both its pro's and cons. This is what we had to endure during a one hour car trip....

Just teasing - Kelsey & Ashleigh... the triplets loved learning new songs from you and we wish Kelsey all good things as she heads out to BGSU in the fall! (this is the BGSU fight song!)
