Fall follow-up

MATEO - right before we left for his first day of pre-k, Mateo ran out into the back yard to fight the dragon with his sword and shield. Our knight and shining armor. He is quick to save his sisters from any trouble... (although he is usually the one instigating the trouble...)

GABBY - has found her voice, without really speaking. She is focused and confident in her actions- especially with sports. She may be small, but she is feisty. Even at this age, I am so proud of how she handles herself.

MARY - is my extremest. Things are either black, or white, with minimal room for negotiation, and hot and cold when it comes to emotions. Her smile lights up a room with excitement, while her screams... well, you can only imagine. Her heart definitely holds not only passion, but lots of love.

ABBY - is beyond happy-go-lucky. If she doesn't have a smile on her face (or a piece of food in her hand) then something isn't quite right. She loves to be loved... and loves to give it right back.

fall festival

The Garcia Family enjoyed a fun-filled fall festival day... (How is that for alliteration?) We were blessed with awesome weather!

four wheels

The girls were excited to try their roller skates, that is, until they realized what roller skating actually was. They haven't wanted to skate since...

gone banana's

This little one "rocks my world" everyday. I can't believe how grown up she is.. having older siblings will do that.

fall soccer

The trio enjoyed soccer last spring (well, at least we think they did) and so Daddy signed us up for another round in the fall. So far, the girls have scored goals at the last 2 games, and all have enjoyed getting DIRTY!

Mary lost a shoe and ran in the mud, and Mateo tripped over his own feet- landing belly up in the mud!

Yes, most of Mateo's "action" shots were of him standing around talking to friends.

Fiesty one...

Mary caught up, and scored her goal!

Mom (and Dad) doing everything possible to not let Abby get into the mud.

flower underwear

According to Gabby, you can't wear flower underwear unless you are wearing a flower shirt or flower skirt. Good to know (I tell myself), as we are racing out the door on the way to school!

Abby's 18mo pic's...

Well, technically 20mo pictures.... but better late than never, right?

I love being a Mom

I love the feeling of Abby's chubby hands squeezing around my neck..

I love when Mateo grabs my hand and gives it a wet, oozing kiss along with the words- "I love you, Mom"...

I love when Mary gives me a sly, cheshire smile when she knows that I am going to answer her question before she even asks it...

I love how influential Gabby is and how much of an impact I am making...

I love to see the four interact- protective of one another... when they fight with each other... and especially when they make up with each other...

I just love being a Mom and getting to witness all of "THIS" firsthand!
